Today, 13th June 2024, Zambia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dr Chola Milambo, signed the book of condolences in honour of the late Right Honourable Dr Saulos Klaus Chilima, Vice President of the Republic of Malawi, at the Permanent Mission of Malawi in New York. Dr Chilima and nine other people died in a tragic plane crash on Monday, 10th June 2024.
Dr Milambo was welcomed at the Mission of Malawi by Mr. Clement Namangale, the Deputy Permanent Representative, who expressed gratitude on behalf of the Government of Malawi on the assistance that Zambia provided to transport the remains of the late Vice President and other crash victims.
